Even though it was a beautiful spring day…we took planty of water and we took our time. The desert is green and blooming…abundant with life. What a pleasant way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
There is such diversity in plant and animal life! Anyone that thinks the desert is a ‘sterile’ place should come here at this time of the year.
There are sweet little blossoms bobbing their heads in the breeze and fierce plants you don’t want to turn your back on!
From the slinky and the creepy and the dangerous, to the gentle touch of a Prairie Dog mama…it’s all around you.
