Do I REALLY look like that?

One more shot from yesterdays freak snow storm. Today it is back to shirt sleeve weather!

This afternoon we watched the fierce CA winds overworking the wind turbines on the way to Palm Springs. And the sand blowing across the road and piling up against a fence in the distance. Crazy weather!

Isn’t it amazing the variety of posies from the most tiny and delicate to the flamboyant and exotic? Millions upon millions of blooms are never seen by human eye but each one is a small wonder in our world.

A pretty little rose.

This sidewalk painting rather snapped my head around. It appears someone has erased part of it and changed the artist’s work in a way he probably never intended!

We watched this sneaky fellow break his own rule of night time feeding and grab a daytime meal.

I just love these tiny fierce predators. We saw one merrily splashing in our birdbath the other day…just passing through I guess.

Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it. Confucius   The Neotropical Rattlesnake of Latin America is called “Little Bell” and is one of my favorite of all snakes for it’s exceptional beauty.
