Rick went over and signed up for another week. This area is so beautiful and it’s cool. We looked at the weather report in the paper and it looks HOT everywhere else.
We drove into Alamosa today…down out of the mountains and onto the plains. The skies here just take my breath away. The building thunderheads in the afternoon are spectacular! With the windows open and my hair whipping in the wind, the incredible sights all around…and the road stretching before us…sometimes think I will burst from the sheer joy of it.
There was a field full of paint horses with babes at their sides. There were dozens of colts. We had to stop and just admire the little beauties.
