Today I stayed home…wrote four letters and made three cards. Ah…the work, the work!
I just can’t believe how much Rick is picking up on his carving. He’s got one cowboy about three quarters done. And it’s wonderful! Now we are looking at other classes in other states!
Yesterday one of the instructors nicked an artery! They called an ambulance and carted him off. After all the preaching they do about safety that must have been embarrassing! He’s fine and was back teaching today.
Tonight we went to a ‘Hobo Stew’ dinner…delicious. We sat with Gordon and Amelia (she is the lady that makes pressed flower cards.) They were good company. Gordon is carving birds. He says the instructor is “working them to death”. (Grin)
The entertainment tonight was a couple of gospel singers…really good gospel singers. All the folks that perform have been people staying in the park…such talent!
