Rick came home for lunch and told me all about a wood burning class that he thought I would enjoy. I went mostly to please him…and discovered that it’s A LOT of fun! Any burning I’ve ever seen has been pretty crude (like what I did today) but in the hands of a skilled artist…the work is incredible! I signed up for an all-day class tomorrow.
A bunch of woodcarvers are sitting outside the RV right now…swapping stories and carving tips. Rick is having a ball. I have a feeling that we will be visiting Creede again.

I went to the wood burning class…What fun! I made a cutting board..now I just have to color it and put on the finish.
We took another trip into South Fork to eat at the ‘Hungry Logger’ with the Joe and Diane. I just hate to see them pull out tomorrow…we’ve gone and ‘bonded’. They went fishing today and Diane caught a couple but Joe…well the good news is that man caught fish…A LOT of fish, BIG fish! The bad news is it’s their last day!!
There was a flashy thunder and lightning storm tonight…some rocking and rolling going on! Sometimes the sunsets look like the sky is on fire.
