We usually cook outdoors on a charcoal grill but today we bought a gas grill. That was inspired by a wonderful cookbook called “The Happy Camper’s Cookbook” by Marilyn Abraham and Sandy MacGregor. I’ve been to a cooking class they gave. They weren’t just telling us how to cook…they were showing us. And when they were though…we ate one of the BEST outdoor cooked meals I’ve ever eaten! It remains to be seen whether owning the book transfers into what I can manage to turn out! (Grin)
Next day
I gathered my courage and went to yet another hair place in yet another town to get a cut. I give the same directions every time and every time the style I come out with is wildly different! This gal smiled cheerfully as she ‘sheared’ me down to the scalp! I just gulped and said over and over to myself. “It will grow back”! That’s one of the chief complaints I hear on the road…where to go and get a decent haircut.
Rick took me to the movies. We saw “Frequency”. That’s a movie that requires complete attention. We both enjoyed it. And I could sit in the dark…where no one could see my hair! ( Or lack thereof ) Grin.
