It was so pretty we decided to take a leisurely drive to the coast. Fog is an interesting thing to watch. It was clear blue until we reached Cape Meares.
We walked down to the Meares Lighthouse and while the cliffs along the way were bright with sunshine…when we reached the lighthouse it looked as if you could walk out from it straight onto a cloud of dense fog! Just little rock islands poking up out of the fog here and there. No doubt that why they put a lighthouse in this spot !
