Bill Dixon makes a fantastic angel out of a cotton boll. Today he taught the Monday craft group the technique. And then afterwards was nice enough to bring a box of cotton over for the ‘city gal’ to take home.
John and Teddie (we’ve met the neatest people here) cooked hamburgers and had us and two other couples over. Great meal and to top it off Banana and walnut HOME MADE ice cream! Man…was that delicious! Bill had a great fire going and a strong wind came up and ruined it. It was just too dangerous to let burn…so the fellows put it out. Just as well, Monday night football was coming on. (grin)
Bill and John have both caught the wood-carving ‘bug’. It’s going to be fun to see how they are doing come next year.
