There are little black bunnies everywhere you look at the Antlers Ranch. And they are so tame you can walk right up to them. Humans aren’t their enemies…but they do need to keep a sharp eye out for danger.
Last year there were around 40 when summer was done. And, between the coyotes and the foxes and the hawks, by the time spring rolled around there were just two left…
Nature is harsh and the ‘food chain’ cruel but at least she was kind enough that when spring rolled around…one of the last two bunnies didn’t say “Hi there my name’s Harry…what’s yours?” And have the other one say “Oh NO my name’s Harry too!!”
