Today we visited my niece Jennifer, her husband Monty and boys Taylor and Tyler (aka Yoda!)
We had a lovely visit and dinner and then Monty marched us both over to the hospital and did an Ultrasound of our carotid arteries! (What ever happened to just having desert…grin) He believes everyone over 50 should have theirs checked…and that simple 5 min test could save many lives…so ASK YOUR DOCTOR TO DO IT!
We passed with flying colors…bless him for not only caring but doing something about it! And for giving us the gift of ‘peace of mind’.
