Sutherlin Wildlife

This is the first time, since we left home, that we’ve stayed someplace for two days in a row and I have to admit it’s nice to have the house holding ‘still’ for a change.

The RV park is full of wildlife…deer amble through regularly and you can hear wild turkeys gobbling in the distance…and as you can see…sometimes NOT so distantly!

Our neighbor said he saw a cougar in the park the other day. (Must be Thanksgiving for that critter all year long!)

The area is a fisherman’s paradise…this reservoir is not far from the park and while we were standing by the water’s edge, a small group of Canadian Geese flew over us…honking loudly with their long necks stretched out. I guess it was a discussion of whether or not to take a dip…and the answer was “Yes”.
