Sundance

Today we checked out an art, craft and music festival at Sundance, a ski resort 50 miles from the “house”.

 

Beautiful day and beautiful setting. A cool breeze and the sun baking warm on our backs. Every once in a while the aroma of Bar-b-Que’d chicken wafted by and teased our will power. And some incredible fiddle music set toes tapping. The artwork and crafts were very creative.

I met a neat lady there. Her name is Gretchen Klein and she makes cards, with hand made paper. Beautiful work! I like her a lot. We are going to stay in touch via E-mail. It takes a great deal of time turn out the quality cards she makes. Yesterday someone asked her “What’s THIS supposed to be” Hurt her feelings! People can be so thoughtless.

Called Beth…she opened the phone bill…..$162 ! This for short calls to make reservations etc. I feel so “ripped off” by these little towns.
