Locust Lake State Pk., Pennsylvania

The car alarm went off this morning while I was still in bed…scared the living daylights out of me…a squirrel must have jumped on it.

We got a late start this morning because we found trees with the most colorful leaves…red with yellow veining…Collected some and put them in the press. I’ve always had “a thing” for leaves. Rick laughs at me at home because I’ll go out of my way to find some on the sidewalk so I can “crunch” in them. Now I’ve got great heaps and piles and bunches of them. They swirl and drift down all around me and I can play to my heart’s content.

Drove until almost 7:30…a long day and we’re both tired. Pretty country. They have beautiful fall foliage in both NY and PA. I thought New England was supposed to have a monopoly on that business, maybe somebody ought to report this!! (smile)
