Bill and Sally battled their way over the pass, yet again, to spend the day with us.
They brought an unbelievable array of ‘goodies’ for my birthday. Sally crocheted a beautiful Afghan…a perfect color match for the RV. And there was sweet little ‘Guardian Angel’ pin. And wonderful books ( our tastes in books are identical) and she baked her famous Lemon Pie. (She didn’t eat any cause she is on a diet…greater love hath no friend then she bakes what she can’t eat!) I was just overwhelmed!
After lunch she and Bill cuddled up in the Afghan so I could take a picture. Bill suddenly looked down and said “OH NO…where’s the baby?” That clown!
Friendship adds such richness to life…and these two are a particular blessing.
