It’s always fun to see a different lifestyle. I noticed that Daryl is wearing a ‘championship bronc rider’ belt buckle…I guess he not only shoes horses but competes in rodeos…and apparently makes a good job of it!
The ranch where we stay is right next to ‘Wolf Creek Outfitters’. They provide trail rides up into the mountains. And we get to watch the horses…lends a nice ‘western’ atmosphere to the ranch.
All that activity means the men that shoe their horses are kept busy seeing that the horses hooves are in good condition. Each horse’s shoes are redone three or four times.
