A day in Creede

Rick caught a couple of trout today…but to get up the canyon to the stream he wanted to fish…was a climb! He came back way overheated…took a shower and drank a lot of water before he looked okay. At this high altitude exertion takes its toll.7_6_our-site

This is such a nice spot in the park. The gravel area in front of the awning is ‘our’ front yard. The units are parked quite a distance from one another.

Our friends next door left for Durango for a day or so and then came back in the same evening. Diane said they got “home sick for God’s country”!

Another wood-carver came over to talk to Rick tonight. The classes start on Saturday and he’s getting anxious to get going.

The weather has been beautiful. Warm days and chilly nights. The skies are always such a wonder! Ever-changing.7_6_yellow_sunset
