Creede, Colorado Mountain Views RV Resort

We made it! Although this is the first time we had to disconnect the car so I could drive behind Rick. If we hadn’t we would still be huffing and puffing up that mountain! Wolf Creek Pass is a killer. We’ve dropped down into a valley that is at about 9000 feet.

I remember when we were sitting in Hemet trying to picture a park to stay in…well the name of this park did not deceive! There are glorious mountains 360 degrees around us! What a spot to spend a couple of weeks. They parked us on the outer edge, so we get a full unimpeded view. When I’m slowly waking up in the morning there isn’t another RV in sight…just beauty.

Creede has a population of 560 folks and it is the ONLY town in the county. We poked around town this afternoon. (By necessity…a short poke) grin. Very picturesque…and charming. We ate at a sidewalk table at a café called ‘Journey’s’. And everyone that passed by said. “Gee, that looks good”! (Shrimp salad…and it was good.)
