This afternoon I checked out the local used bookstore and then we looked at the web site progress at the computer store. Steve has made some design changes that we like a lot. I’m beginning to wish we had gotten AT&T’s one rate cell phone so we could get on the web more easily.

We can hear wild turkeys gobbling in the woods all around us. This evening several wandered into the park. Rick was sitting outside reading and one came up to within 10 feet of him! Lucky for that bird it’s not November!

New neighbors pulled in beside us today. He’s new at this ‘motorhome’ driving business. Said he was so nervous driving through LA traffic that the only reason they didn’t just turn around and go back home was because he didn’t want to face the LA traffic a second time! (Grin) Everyone has a bit of this at first.

It rained last night but the sun was peeking out when I awoke this morning. There is an old apple tree next to us, with it’s branches nearly touching the ground. When the sun struck it…there were a thousand diamonds hanging there.5_10sheep_camas

Rick took us out for a drive this morning. And alongside a little country road we came across fields of blue flowers as far as the eye could see. While I was taking a picture a lady stopped the car just to say “Isn’t that the most incredible sight”? Said the area is protected wet lands and the flowers are called Camas. The blue in back of the sheep isn’t water it’s the Camas. I don’t know the name of the flowers in the foreground.

A beautiful, puffy white cloud, day. Cool though, it’s supposed to get down to 30 degrees tonight.

We took a drive and saw the strangest thing…a flock of sheep with coats on! Wonder if they’ve been watching TV and decided that COTTON really is ‘the fabric of their lives’!! (Grin)

The funniest thing…there is a big dog that lies in the middle of the drive into the RV park. When you drive in he reluctantly gets up and ambles out of the way. Today we heard the owner call to him…”Here, Speedbump!
