We drove into Farmington, New Mexico today. Down into the heat and the heart of Apache country. Even on the local station the DJ was speaking Apache and playing country music.
The countryside is a whole lot different then where we are staying. Cliffs with scrub brush and Pinion Pine. They do, however, have a Red Lobster, a mall, and a huge Hobby Lobby store! After all this time…CULTURE SHOCK! I was not too shocked to take advantage of all the above though!
We passed through the small town of Aztec. “Ah-ha…trouble in Paradise ?”
