This little grouping of ruins in Aztec Colorado is very accessible and the day we were there we were the only ones poking around. In one area there is a series of connecting rooms with little doorways that even I have to duck to get through. The indians that built them were amazing engineers. The masonry work has stood the test of time.
Every time we’ve been here I’ve thought that if only I’d had this for a playhouse when I was a kid! But I’d guess life was anything but a game in the days when voices filled these spaces.
