For once I remembered to grab a shot of the table ‘before’ the gravy stains! LOL.
We bought these dishes in 1957 , shortly after we married, and I’ve collected the cranberry ware through the years. I’ve always loved how festive it looks. I can’t tell you how many family meals have been eaten off these dishes. How many loved ones, that are no longer with us, that joined us in celebration. Our children tiny…now so tall…once sat on phone books to reach these plates So much laughter, so many memories….their faint echos join us still at the family dinner table.
