There is a rather odd story to go with this photo. This is Izzy again….official cat of Silver City Ghost Town. She was escorting me around and I spotted this old saddle slung over a rail. I looked down at her and thought “Izzy I sure wish you’d sit in that saddle and let me take some pictures.” I had no more had the thought when she walked over, jumped up, and struck a pose. AND held it till I was finished with a few dozen shots from all directions! For all I know she sits there all the time but it did make me wonder if she could ‘hear’ my thoughts and was in an accommodating mood. All in all….it amazed me. And it makes me ponder on the mysteries all around us in this miraculous world, of which we are totally unaware…..
