It sometimes takes hours to cross the pass during the tunnel construction work. And the pass is closed after 10 o’clock on weeknights…a major pain! This has been going on for years and it’s got a ways yet to go.
Do we gripe and complain…do we moan and groan and bitch at the delays…Oh YES! But in truth it is a true marvel of design and engineering. And even while we complain we watch this incredible piece of work take place before our eyes with awe and fascination.
What a day it will be when we can drive into that enormous entrance and out the other side!
