We drove into Yellowstone Park. This place is truly an “Eden”. The hills are covered with herds of bison. This must be how it looked before man arrived. There was one huge old bull that was “guarding” a female. When a young bull approached the old bull began a deep growling rumble in his throat. I don’t know about the young bull but it scared me!
“The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone” was an unexpected treat. This is one of the most majestic parts of the Park and we’d never seen it before.
One of the rangers said she had worked here for 4 years and this was the most glorious fall she had ever seen! The air was warm and spiced with pine.
