Down in Creede, this morning, there is a ‘Knife and Tomahawk’ competition going on. I didn’t get too close…I tend to forget what I’m doing with a camera in front of my face. I didn’t want to end up with a tomahawk sticking into the end of my lens. (or in the middle of my forehead!)
Some of the people had amazing skill…I wouldn’t want them mad at me! One little girl was really whacking them into the target and putting a number of the adults to shame.
Most of the competitors were in period costume. That’s always fun to see.
