We are parked in a grove of LARGE acorn and hickory trees. Last night the wind blew something fierce and all night long the nuts fell…crash on us…plop on the ground. Bang, crash, plot, and splat…we were under a nut bombardment. But morning DID come and the wind DID die down and the blearyeyed survivors… live to tell the tale!
The temperature dropped from shirt sleeve weather yesterday into the low 50’s today. Tonight it will be in the 30’s…burrrrr!
