On Nelson St. between Magnolia Ave. and Brockton Ave is one of Riverside, California’s best kept secrets. It’s called the Backstreet and it’s a little garden deli that serves the best deli food we’ve ever come across. Rebecca, the little waitress in the picture, has served us for 28 years! She gave us each a smooch when we were there the other day…she says she loves to have the ‘old time customers’ stop in to say hello.
