We drove over to Pagosa Springs today. They have a little Wildlife Zoo there and while the animals are free roaming in large areas, it’s not very conducive to photography. There were a couple of baby cougars just a month old.. cute as little buttons. They took them out for us to see up close!
On an overlook of the San Juan Valley we spotted our next place to stay! It’s a ranch with horseback riding, fishing and incredible scenery. The RV’s are parked in the woods. You can see some of the ponds and outbuildings to the left of the photo. We drove in and made reservations for the month of August, on the spot!
