Rick was sitting outside working on his carving and I asked him to pick up a couple so I could take a picture. One ( the ‘Hitchhiker) is still unpainted. Note he is showing a little leg…the better to lure in a ride! I think it’s going to take a bit more then that! (grin)

After lunch we went over the pass to Creede to spend the afternoon with Bill and Sally Middleton. Today is Bill’s 59 Birthday. That meant we got to sample the ‘goodies’ people showered on him! Including a ‘once a year birthday’ lemon pie…to die for, that Sally baked!

We played Mexican Train…a really fun domino game and laughed our fool heads off. What a joy to be around these two!

Here Bill plays a catchy tune on what he ‘tells’ us is the smallest playable violin in the world.

He does wonderful impressions. Sally says when he was ‘courting’ her she never knew ‘who’ was going to be on the other end of the phone when she picked up.
