To celebrate my ‘one year since heart surgery’ Rick and I went to a big country music festival in Indio, CA for the weekend.
It was hot and dusty and we had to drag around folding chairs for miles! And I still loved it!
All the music was heart pounding and soul filling but it’s the little things I will remember most. Watching Earl Scruggs at 83 still making absolute magic on the banjo. And listening to Garrison Keillor, the America humorist, while he made Lake Woebegone feel like it was my home town too!
