How I love photography! For years I’ve collected old photographs of nurses that walked that path before I was even born much less after I graduated as an RN.
Someone, long ago, used a camera to hold the past still so I could marvel at the differences…knowing that underneath the stiff faces and strange garb there were universal tasks that we each had to master. And there were very similar experiences of pain and joy that our patients brought to us. Bless that photographer for capturing a moment so I could marvel at the sight of my ‘sisters’ of bygone days.
