This resilient little Hummer is back building another nest on our patio after the neighbor’s cat decimated the last one. Rick has his pea shooter at the ready this time to leap to her defense if any feline get’s near!
It’s fun to watch her building techniques. Among other things we’ve seen her dip her beak into snail trails, I guess for glue, and then scoop up spider webs. Isn’t nature fascinating?
