I could smell the sharp pungent odor of ozone even before the rain swept across the valley. The sky was filled with the crack of thunder and flashes of lightening as I hurried back to the car.

t was so early the dew was still on the ground as we walked across the meadow. The silence was broken only by the twittering of the birds as they celebrated the morning light.

  Here even the ‘critters’ just relax…stretch out…and enjoy the sun…
