You can’t get most teenage boys to ‘happily’ give you a hug if their life depends on it, but our grandson Gabriel has always been such an affectionate kid. He gives the best hugs and I love it! A hug is such a simple thing but so important. We all crave that closeness…the loving touch of another human being.
I think the elderly that are alone especially suffer from the loss of that touch. So if you want to give a gift….look around for someone to hug! You’ll make their day.
