We’ve never seen these pink-purple flowers in the meadow before. They are everywhere, brightening up the dark corners with vibrant color. The butterflies love them and so do I.
When we were walking over to them we accidently disturbed a young buck that had been resting in the tall grass. He bolted to to his feet and bounded away.
It makes me catch my breath…the beauty that surrounds us.
