Hardin, Montana Re-enactment of Custer’s Last Stand

There were probably close to 3,000 of us watching the reenactment of Custer’ Last Stand six miles outside the little town of Hardin. As we were told the story…it unfolded before our very eyes.06_25_oldindian

The plains Indians were a nomad people…desperately trying to hang on to their way of life. But they stood in the way of westward expansion…Like a monstrous machine, the expansion rolled on…taking everything in its path.
