In the city of Red Bluff…under an immense tree, with branches that seem to gather the little house under it like a broody hen, sits the home William Ide built for his family about 1850.
It’s one of those tiny ‘out of the way’ places that makes up the rich tapestry of our country. If not for the recommendation of a friend we would have missed this wonderful little piece of history.
