Everything is Done!

For weeks I have been waking in the middle of the night…lists of chores buzzing in my head. Things to do in the house…things to do in the RV. Business matters that needed tending before we left town. Over the weeks…one by one…I checked things off that list. I wouldn’t have believed just HOW intensive the work required to break the ties that bind you to a particular place.

Every time we thought we were done with something up popped some ‘other’ part we hadn’t been anticipating. For instance…We switched our mail to the Escapees Mail Service in Livingston, TX. My sister had been taking care of it for years and while she never once complained, we knew it was a burden in her busy life.

And then we got a letter from our health care provider asking us to explain why we had a mailing address in TX, which is out of their area. “Explain at once or we will cancel your health insurance!” Sigh… As much as we tried to explain that we didn’t “LIVE IN THAT PO BOX”…the more they insisted that we MUST have a mailing address in Hemet. So my poor little beleaguered sister will still have to watch the mail…for that single letter that may arrive.

Details…details…details…

But last night, when I woke, as I had so many nights in these past months, a big smile spread across my face because…I COULD NOT THINK OF A SINGLE THING TO DO!
