Our first day of ‘full-timing’ got off to a slow start…but we are on the road at long last. We’re staying at Jojoba Hills…a SKP park not far from where we started. While the need to finally GET GOING was strong, the need to tackle the traffic over the holiday was NOT!
We are going to sit here for a few days and recuperate from the stress of getting the house ready for the new occupants and the myriad of details that almost swamped us these past weeks.
This is such a quiet park…nary a traffic sound to be heard… only the occasional quack of the ducks landing on the pond below us. Out my window I see a mama quail scurrying through the campsite accompanied by her little ‘top knotted’ crew.
Suddenly the hectic days of getting ready… seem like a dream.
