Today we drove into the little town of Del Norte and went into their public library. It’s amazing the difference in the way various libraries welcome visitors that would like to check out a book, but don’t live there. It ranges from a very definite “NO” and a suspicious look, to a very friendly response and everything in between.
The two ladies in this wonderful little library not only gave us a card, let us use their computer, reserved a book for us, and give us a tour of the library…they did it with a smile. What a warm and lasting impression that leaves of the whole community!
