Many people around here have fixed up their campsites with feeders and posies and things of that nature. We decided that we would buy some flowers, as well, and went to the Bayfield Gardens and purchased a couple of hanging flower pots.
Rick drove a nail in an appropriate tree and hung them up. Sitting down to admire our new plants we noticed several Chipmunks scramble up the tree and set themselves down to dinner on our new posies!
It was back to the nursery to find a pole to hang them on…this one is just deer height. Hummm….This may not have been a well thought out plan!
Here is a little Chipmunk eating something a tad more appropriate! Of course it requires ‘hanging on’ for dear life!
