Woodcarving suppliy

Sept 29 Kaysville, Utah

We drove into Provo to a woodcarving supply store. Rick said he felt like he was in a candy store. He’s sitting at the table, complimenting himself on his taste in new knives! A burst of laughter from the table area. He just found a package of Band-Aids packaged in the knife box.

The mail came today, lovely letters and card from Bette, a note from those people that we had such a nice visit with in Rawlings, And a sweet card and “letter” from Gabriel!

Sept 30, Kaysville, Utah

It’s cold in the country we just came through and there is a heat wave in the west.  But, like the ‘Three Bears’ this is just right! It’s in the mid 70’s…Indian Summer Weather.

I was talking to the lady across the street. They are from New England and full timers since last July. They had a ‘dream house’ in Maine. I asked her how she had gotten the nerve to leave it and go full time? She said they were on an extended trip and somehow while they were gone the furnace ‘blew up and sent clouds of soot out and into every nook and cranny of the house. It cost them thousands of dollars and weeks of back breaking work to clean it up. Said “Now our house is with us and we’ll never have to worry about something ‘back there’ going wrong again. I can understand that thought process.
