Sept 21 Ogden, Utah

Traveled today. We took Highway 15 instead of going through Logan Canyon That’s the drive we took the other day…beautiful but straight up!

Sept 22 Kaysville, Utah Cherry Hill RV Park

We are staying at Cherry Hill. We stayed here with the kids, almost 30 years ago and I’ve never forgotten it! Then it was on a wind swept hilltop with newly planted little cherry trees. Now the trees are large and shady. Still a beautiful place and so are the memories.

Because there is so much to see we will stay a week or so… We both get such a kick out of switching back and forth from country mouse to city mouse! There is always something new and exciting to experience in each setting.

Sept 23 Kaysville, Utah

The voices of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir are still ringing in my ears! They were rehearsing tonight for Sunday Service.

We stopped in and watched for an hour and a half. The lady in blue, center right, has just finished a solo. The choir is giving her a standing ovation! Her voice is PURE GOLD. The acoustics of the Tabernacle in Salt Lake City are so perfect that a pin dropped at one end of the building can be clearly heard, 160 feet away at the other end of the building! To then hear 325 voices in song, in THAT place, with THOSE voices is unbelievable. All I can say is it brought me near to tears with the glory of it!
