What a little jewel of a campground! Forest service…$7 a night. Our space is so sheltered that we can’t even see another campsite. There are deep pines and a meadow…I sat down and read for hours, and listened to the birds call to one another across the meadow. I had a meditation tape once that sounded just like it.
Rick went fishing at Spring River Lake. While he was walking at the lake side, he looked up, and there was a bull Moose, a 100 yards or so away…feeding…up to his knees in the lake. His antlers still in velvet. This place is teeming with wildlife!
