We went into Santa Barbara for the day. Took some pictures in for printing and had lunch while we waited. Sat in the window of the deli and watched the people. Santa Barbara is a great ‘people watching’ place! We went to the Santa Barbara Mission and then I spent a ‘quiet hour’ in the botanical gardens. That is such a peaceful place…one of my favorite places on earth.

Went to see the Santa Barbara Mission. While we were there, furtively taking a picture of our Sock Monkey in front of the fountain…this very aristocratic lady stopped and in a droll voice said “Monkey on a trip”? “Ah, yes”. “Would you like a picture of the whole family? (Grin)
Humor…it does smooth the bumps of life!
Rick did a little metal detecting on the local beach while I relaxed. Tomorrow we head for a ‘new backyard’.
