They call Eureka Springs America’s Victorian Village. It began in the 1800s with tales of miraculous healing cures from 63 mineral springs gushing from a rocky wilderness. The entire downtown is listed on the National Register of Historic Places in America.
We took a tram tour of the historical district. It’s amazing how many wonderful old houses there are here. The driver said “People come here to retire and end up opening a bed and breakfast place. There are more bed and breadfasts here then anywhere in the United States.” This in a place where the population is under 2000!
