‘ A Pretty State’
The countryside, here, is pastoral. We traveled through tunnels of deep woods that break out into rolling hills, dotted with little farms. There are completely different wild flowers in this part of the world. A pretty one, called Purple cone, shows up along the roadside and merrily bobs its head in the breeze. The variety of songbirds is amazing.
