There was a soft misty rain today and it turned the foliage colors into pastel paintings. I had a photography instructor that would say…” If you want good pictures…when the weather is bad and everyone is tucked in next to the fireplace… put on your coat, grab your camera and get going!”
I don’t just like to hop out of the car and photograph. Often, when we are driving on a little country road…Rick will drop me off and drive on to find a safe place to park the car. I’ll just meander along taking in the sounds and sights and smells around me.
Rick spotted this little stream and we pulled over to investigate.
There was a leaf covered path beside the water. We took our time and drank in the beauty. It was so quiet…just the soft sound of the the water and the birds calling to one another. Our footsteps on the soft mossy path…made not a sound
