Quechee, Vermont Leaves

On our last day here we treated ourselves to a ‘taste of Vermont.’ Breakfast consisted of home made sausage and wild blueberry pancakes with Vermont maple syrup!

For lunch we found a little stand that had Cortland apples. These apples have got to be the most crisp, firm, tart and juicy apples on the face of the earth! We can’t get them in California…sigh.

We discovered a covered bridge…and looking through it…spotted another covered bridge. Is that a ‘wealth of bridge’…or what?

The palette of fall foliage here is breathtaking. The variety in ONE tree boggles the mind!09_30_closeup 09_30_bridge
