I canNOT believe our grandson is 8 years old! The three of us trotted off to Disneyland today to celebrate that ‘momentous’ occasion’!
Gabriel is as sharp as a tack, sweet, loving and great company! Nah…we’re not proud or anything! It may have been his birthday…but this day felt like a gift to us.
There won’t be many more years that he’ll exhibit such unabashed joy at spending the day with his grandparents instead of his friends, so we soaked it up.
Gabriel is still young enough to feel the ‘magic’ of this place. I loved watching his eyes widen and the flash of that ‘gap toothed’ grin spread across his face!
There may not be a sweeter sound in the world than the laughter of a child..
